Licensing for Restaurants

Venues intending to sell alcohol or serve food and drink past 11pm, known as 'late night refreshments', must comply with UK law, meaning a Premises Licence, as well as a Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) should be in place.

Why do you need a DPS & Premises Licence?

Venues that wish to provide hot food and drinks beyond 11pm, or wishing to sell alcohol, must obtain a premises licence.

A Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) is also required as a named individual responsible as the first point of contact for the venue who holds a valid Personal Licence.

Obtaining this licence and correctly assigning the DPS is crucial.

We ensure that all necessary permissions are obtained during your initial application process, while accounting for future needs to cover and protect you long-term, too.
